It all started when Carolita said, "how lovely these fabrics are, I want to use them as garments, not just accessories." And that's when the idea came up to make a vest, like the indigenous top but in a winter version and entirely woven. It was challenging because it's not easy to make a garment on a frame loom that looks good and stylish.And the truth is, we couldn't be happier with the result.As you can see, the top is handmade on a frame loom with pure wool in natural colors.It can be worn closed or open, depending on individual preference.

It's a vest with two uses.Is it itchy? It's a little itchy, not meant to be worn directly on the skin; it's not a base layer. It's meant to be worn over another garment.Is it heavy? No, it's not very heavy, it weighs less than a pure wool sweater.Does it keep you warm? It keeps you very warm and is ideal for wearing over dresses, blouses, or lightweight sweaters.

It goes with everything, with jeans, pants, dresses.It's a timeless, noble, conscious garment, handmade, with a story woven by Doña Laura's hands.

No two vests are alike, so there may be variations in colors since they are made with natural wool.
