They are inspired by the huge necklaces / breastplates of women from African tribes. I don't want to get too involved in this because I have no idea about its culture, meaning, traditions, but I am going to say that I always found the great size of those accessories with their vibrant colors fascinating! I wanted to imitate something similar but bringing a lot of attitude down to earth and being more gaucho and Argentinian and we couldn't be happier with the result!!!
